During a recent operation in Arncliffe, a south Sydney suburb, the Australian Border Force (ABF) made an unexpected discovery. Initially raiding a residence on Kelsey Street in search of illegal immigrants, as reported by witnesses including lebomemes101, the ABF stumbled upon nuclear materials instead.

This startling find, which took place around 9am on Thursday, turned what is typically a quiet Sydney suburb into a hub of activity. Early reports from The Daily Telegraph have identified the substances as nuclear isotopes.

In response, the surrounding area was quickly marked off with “hot zone” barriers, hinting at the potential risk of hazardous materials. The scale and immediacy of the official response were noteworthy: two hazmat fire trucks were dispatched, supplemented by numerous officers in protective hazmat attire. Additional support came in the form of several police vehicles and ambulances stationed nearby.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was promptly on the scene, with its officers active throughout the morning.

Local residents, including those who had initially tipped off about the nature of the raid, were seen congregating just outside the secured perimeter, observing the ongoing situation. The ABF, to ensure public safety and an unobstructed operation, has released a statement. They implore those in the vicinity to comply with instructions from emergency services, also stressing that there is currently no threat to the local community and confirming that all necessary safety protocols are being followed.

As the situation continues to unfold, further details are anticipated.
