The recent events of Palestine and Israel have shown how not only recently but for years, Western media has constricted and fed Australians with lies and false information. Only now, this is becoming highlighted, and the Australian government can be seen cucked by Israel and all their elites.
The influence of Western media on how Australians perceive international conflicts cannot be denied. The power of visual imagery and narrative framing can sway public opinion in one direction or another. The recent events in Gaza and Israel have once again brought this issue to the forefront, prompting questions about the accuracy and objectivity of media reporting.
Our government shows support for Israel, and shamefully, that represents all of Australia. But our government should not speak for its people when it's being manipulated and doesn't have a backbone to even stand up for itself.
Israel preaches that they are destroying Palestine, and that is their intention only. But that doesn't explain the kidnapped, the hospitals bombed, the cut-off electricity and water. Israel is attempting what was once a shared feeling to them: a genocide of Gaza and the Palestinians.
Yet Western media and our government are in full support of Israel to destroy them. Where is the quality, where is the fairness, and where is the need for basic human rights and protection?
Our government needs to be ashamed, and they don't speak for us.
